UDI DataMatrix-Code for better traceablility

Following the global trend in handling the traceability of medical devices all products supplied by Albert Heiss are now marked with a Unique Device Identification (UDI) Code. 

• UDI information is placed on the instrument and/or package of the instrument
•  The UDI code consist of an UDI-DI (device identifier – specific to Albert Heiss and the individual instrument) and a UDI-PI
    (production identifier – identifies the LOT number).
• The UDI code fulfils all requirements of the new EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR) 2017/745 as well as the FDA regulations.
• Corrosion resistant laser engraving ensures permanent readable marking over the complete life time of our instruments
